Black , White and Metallic me.

Hello Everyone.

It is time for Wardrobe Wednesday.

I am wearing :

White Dress - designed by me.
Black trench coat - gold dust (old)
Aiva necklace
Metallic Stilettos - Catwalk.
Hat - Pondicherry
Purse - Van Heusen (old)

The inspiration of this outfit was the hat I picked from Pondicherry.

It is getting very cold in Bangalore these days. Winter is finally here. To keep myself warm, I teamed up my white dress with stockings and black trench coat. I completed the look with metallic heels and accessories.

I tried to capture the eternal classic combination of black and white to give it a winter look.

The black trench coat (old) I bought in gold dust. The dress is actually a white kurta. But I fell in love with the amazing pattern and design. Therefore, I designed it into a LWD (Little white dress). The kurta cost me 200 Rs.

The metallic heels are from Catwalk. I picked it up from Commercial Street during 50% sale. It cost me around 800 Rs.

Sneak Peek of Wardrobe Wednesday

It has been an amazing week for my blog.

I just love this amazing photo by Vignesh. It captures the silken leaves yet moist in the morning dew and the pragmatic purple flowers subdue my look perfectly.

This photo reminds me of one of William Blake's poetry

The modest Rose puts forth a thorn,
The humble sheep a threat'ning horn:
While the Lily white shall in love delight,
Nor a thorn nor a threat stain her beauty bright.

A furry affair.

Hello everyone.

Its time for Wardrobe Wednesday. Today's look is called as "A Furry Affair".

This week's inspiration is the faux fur vest I bought recently. I picked up the vest from my favourite store Gold dust. Had a blast shooting for this look. I have overloaded this post with Vignesh's amazing work. I am just not able to decide which photos to put up. I love them all.

I picked up the faux fur vest for 200 Rs . The asymmetric pleated white cotton skirt gives a fun , flirty look to the outfit and the skirt is beautifully complimented by contrasting dark brown top with tailored detailing on the neck and waist.

The pink La Belle bag is a perfect fold over. I have tried to create a color block using quintessential pink ,brown combination with the bright white skirt. My pink gladiators (got during 70% sale from Luciano ) cost around 700 Rs. Always remember girls keep either your shoes and bag matching or belt and footwear matching. You can experiment with a maximum of three different colors.

I completed the look by adding a metallic touch with my Aiva necklace (cost 250 Rs) and Fast-track Military collection (gift from my friends ).

I read a quote recently, "a paragraph is like a skirt,it should be long enough to cover the subject but short enough to keep it interesting". Hopefully my short description of the look is good enough to keep it interesting.

Little red in the woods

Hello everyone!

Its wednesday and time for wardrobe Wednesday.

This week inspiration was the red pants (yes my obsession with red continues ) I got recently. Coloured pants are must have this season. From Lovely Pepa – Spanish blogger to Style Seeker – Indian Blogger are endorsing “the red pants” this season.

Red, black and white is an eternal combination that never fades. The femininity of red colour compliments the contrast of white and black elegantly. In Short , damn it’s an awesome combination (he he.. ).

I was travelling the past week. Went to Pondicherry and surrounding places. I found great value additions to my wardrobe which you guys will see soon on my blog.

I am sorry for the short post.I am not feeling well. I promise next time I will bore you guys with my ranting’s :).

Rock chic

Hello everyone! Its time for Wardrobe Wednesday again. This week's theme is to create outfits for different occasion ( three different occasion outfits) with basic black skirt and white T-shirt.

Replace the Black jacket with medium length trench coat give a more casual and sophisticated look.

LOOK 3 - CASUAL (EVERYDAY LOOK)

Removed the jackets .I am wearing black skirt and a basic white T-Shirt. I kept the chain to add a casual look. Very chic and casual outfit especially when you have to meet friends, or go for movie.
