Entrenched.

Hello Everyone!

Wishing all a very Merry Christmas and I hope the new year will bring in loads of happiness for you and your family :)

This week, post is about styling trench coats (finally the winter is upon us!) and also how to style trench coat to look few pounds thinner.

I am wearing...

Coral Lace Dress - courtesy Rooja.in (Rooja is a member only site. It takes week's time to get invite, but for Stilettos Diary readers click on the link to get immediate access..

Bat shaped Bag - courtesy Oasap (BUY HERE!)
Pink Trench Coat - Show off (Bought during 60% sale for Rs.1705. Sale is still on.)
Heels - courtesy Steve Madden India.(Buy here!)
Bracelet/ Ring - Stilettos Diary Shop.
ALDO Rose Gold Watch - courtesy Majorbrands.in [BUY HERE]
On My nails - Pastel colors (Salmon, grey, coral, mint green, lavender) - Faces
On my lips - Chanel Rouge Allure Shade 96- Excentrique
Sunglasses - Aldo (Bought during sale, as seen in many posts.)

The best thing about buying dress is I can restyle it so many ways. As a tunic, top and skirt. Therefore, most of the time I invest in fitted dress. I always have a list of things I need to make a classic wardrobe, one of the items was coral dress. It is really hard to find this color in India! After months of searching, I found this dress on sale in Rooja.in. Dress has grey lace detailing on the neck, back and hem of the dress. Perfect for party as well as every day wear. It's very important to me that I can style the outfit for special occasions as well as every day use.

The reason I am in love with Rooja.com is because Rooja's USP lies in the products it sells which are unique and design focused. Most of the item sourcing comes from international and Indian brands which are hard to find in India and extremely desirable for casual daily discovery. Best thing about Rooja.com is that it does not focus on the name brands which are easily available on other websites rather they look for really interesting and unique products from independent designers. Trench coats are a must have in a girl's closet. They are timeless and have a universal appeal through their ability to adapt and evolve with the latest trends. The best things about the trench coat is that you can really personalize how you wear it-left casually open, buttoned all the way, knotted, or belted-plus there is a slew of chic styles to choose from. You can invest in classic trench coats in the color khaki, beige, ink blue, cream and black, but I opted for this unique color pinkish coral trench coat. It adds the required color to brighten up dull winter.

1. Trench as a dress - totally buttoned up over black tights and amazing heels. Keep your hair and make up glossy and warm.
2. Trench glam- Trench coat, simple shift dress with bare legs and contrast heels.
3. Trench with causal touch - Style trench coat with jeans and tee. Complete the look with high pony and statement necklaces.
4. Trench Layering - A tunic, paired with thick leggings, boots and complete the look with trench coat and scarf. You can add rock star treatment to the trench with a seventies style hat, killer black ankle boots and pushed up sleeves.

Hope these styling tips help you and you will invest in trench coats. Always remember to look slimmer, a well-fitted trench makes a lot of difference. Clinch the trench coat at the waist to add definition. It gives shape to the trench coat. Ensure the trench coat is not thick, the thicker the material it adds pounds.

I have styled trench coat in two ways. As I previously told, I have managed to put on loads of weight. Still struggling to get back in shape. The dress is a bit tight, so I paired it with a fitted trench coat. I love the vibrant contrast of coral and pink color. Added a dash of neon with my Aria Steve Madden Heels and neon pink stud. Paired a black bag to match the buttons of the trench.

For the second look, I am wearing trench as a dress. I added shape to the trench with a big black belt which not only gives a sophisticated classy look to the outfit, but also gives shape to the trench coat.

Do let me know what you think about the styling. I will wait for all your comments.
